About Isobel Watkins
Isobel is a Podiatrist and Pilates instructor with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University and APPI Clinical Pilates training. Isobel has experience treating clients from all walks of life via her time at Alfred Health, Eastern Health and in the NHS in Scotland.
Isobel has a key passion for treating dancers and dance related injuries, offering pre-pointe assessments for budding ballerinas. Isobel has a particular passion for foot strength and rehabilitation arising from her love of dance and extensive ballet training growing up (where foot strength is non-negotiable!). The importance of lower limb strength was reinforced to her during her time as a Rhythmic Gymnastics coach, Isobel has since pursued Clinical Pilates Training with the aim of providing a more holistic approach to treatment for all clients and athletes.
If you don’t find Isobel at work, you will find her out for brunch, in the dance studio or on a pilates reformer! She is also a self-acclaimed shoe-a-holic so doing “market research” (*wink wink*) at the local shoe shop is also an option! Feel free to ask her for any footwear advice!
